The USGBC Central Plains Chapter is the only professional organization allowed to offer official LEED™ workshops to Kansas and western Missouri taught by USGBC nationally trained faculty. We also create customized sustainability and green building training for our markets, taught by experts in the field. Our members are engaged in nearly every major green initiative in the region, bringing not only their professional career experience, but USGBC national resources and best management practices in sustainability in the built environment to all aspects of the design / build / manage cycle. At USGBC Central Plains, we represent the public, private, nonprofit, education and health care sectors, as well as green product manufacturers and service providers. We are students. We are entrepreneurs. We are teachers. We are builders. We are neighbors. Together, we envision a greener region that truly celebrates the culture, history and environment of our spaces, inside and out, and people that design, build and use them. Please join us in our sustainability efforts! Join our FREE listserv and stay in-the-loop on what's going on green in Greater Kansas City. Or, to receive access to even more best practices in sustainability and the built environment, become a member or a sponsor. We are architects, planners, interior designers, engineers, landscape architects, developers, and many other sustainability professionals committed to a more sustainable built environment. We value an integrated approach to decision making to take advantage of the many disciplines our members bring to the table.
